On a phone, the bubble opens WhatsApp directly; on a computer, it shows a QR code to scan.
Create the widget. Give it a name (to find your way around, the visitor does not see it), the pre-filled message, who answers, and its look: a color, one of the four corners of the screen, a short label and an avatar if you wish. A preview shows the bubble as it will appear. For the visitor, the bubble speaks the language of their browser, French or English; your label stays as you wrote it. Then copy the tag and paste it on every page where the bubble should appear. If our service does not answer, the bubble simply does not appear: your page is never slowed down.
The pre-filled message tells where the conversation comes from. It must be unique to this widget: it can neither contain nor be contained in the message of another widget or of a channel link, and a message that already appears in your conversations is refused, with their number. Conversations that came through your widgets do not count: you can reuse the message of a deleted widget, or shorten the message of a widget. Case, accents and final punctuation do not tell two messages apart. Finally, the message cannot start with a stop word (“stop”, “unsubscribe”…): it would be read as an unsubscribe request, and every visitor would be unsubscribed.
Who answers. By default, like the other conversations. You can also hand the widget’s conversations to the automatic responder (the one you chose on the Home screen, in “Who answers the customer”), or start a scenario, provided it is published: a scenario that was never published would start nothing, so publish it first. For an AI agent to answer the widget’s visitors, choose it in “Who answers the customer”. If the chosen scenario is deleted, the widget no longer starts anything: its record says so, choose another one.
Turn off or delete. When off, the bubble disappears but the tag can stay on your site; you turn it back on in one move. You can create five widgets at most. With no WhatsApp number linked, the bubble shows greyed out and does not open.
From an assistant. An assistant such as Claude Code, plugged into your workspace through the MCP server (Developers menu), can also list, create and edit your widgets, with the same rules, and paste the tag on your site itself.
